2016 VOLVO V60

Very rare Genuine, standard and original Volvo V60 Polestar 3.0 Twin-scroll Turbo 4x4 performance flagship model finished in Rebel Blue. It is one of only 85 cars on the road in the UK and is in fantastic unmodified factory condition throughout with low mileage, Full Service History and only 79k miles from new.

This is a beautifully maintained and recent Japanese import which has been fully UK converted (correct infotainment, radio stations, navigation, UK spec fuel engine map etc) Only 125 were imported into the UK in 2015 and had a huge amount of technical changes over the standard V60 T6 model to make it into the flagship model you see here and the most hardcore, performance-focused Volvo there has ever been (or likely may ever be!). The 6 cylinder engine was upped increased from 300 to 350PS through revised intake, Polestar-branded sports exhaust and turbo mapping and the quick-shifting ZF 6 speed automatic transmission and All wheel drive system were also recalibrated.

This power and all-wheel-drive traction coupled to the excellent and quick automatic transmission results in a 0-60 time of just 4.7 seconds and a limited top speed of 155mph. This 6 cylinder engine is not to be confused with the later, less torquey 4 cylinder models which also did not have the amazing sound track of this unit, nor the seamless power delivery. The suspension on V60 Polestar models was also heavily improved with Ohlins suspension all-round, revised anti-roll bars and 80% enhanced springs matched to revised steering which makes the car handle brilliantly yet also retains a really composed and refined ride. The brakes are huge 370mm Polestar branded silver Brembo items wrapped in beautiful (and unmarked) 20” Polestar wheels with matching Bridgestone performance tyres.

There is unique body styling and branding and inside there are fantastic heated electric sports seats and steering wheel featuring blue Polestar stitching throughout and carbon effect dashboard inlays. The whole Polestar treatment is comprehensive and beautifully executed, giving just the right amount of appeal and edge without being over the top.

There was 1 specification available for this car, the only choice being the exterior colour. Thanks to being originally from Japan it is also in stunning condition underneath and has just been fully treated with Lanoguard to ensure it stays that was for years to come. The MOT required no work or changes, it passed with no advisories and the tester was amazed at it’s condition. It’s just been serviced and is great fun to drive – It’s the best car I’ve ever driven. The interior and exterior trim also looking great and the body, suspension, mechanicals are all in fantastic condition including brakes, tyres etc. No warning lights are on, it comes with the two original remote keys and no further work is needed.
