2008 SAAB 9-5

Have been given the opportunity to buy back my ST220 daily that I had gotten very well sorted and sold in an apparent fit of insanity, so the Saab is moving on.

The owner prior to me had it for 17 years. It had not done many miles in the past few years when I picked it up a few months ago so I spent quite a bit on getting it sorted as I had intended for this to be a long-term daily driver for me. Full service at a Saab specialist plus had the sump dropped and pick-up pipe cleaned at the same time along with some other bits; rocker cover, bushes etc. Four new Pirelli SF3 all-season tyres, I have used these on my dailies since they came out and regard them highly.

Part service history from the previous owner although the paperwork wasn't the most organised when I bought it (I found a number of invoices relating to an XJ they also owned!). It drives spot-on but bodywork shows its age in spots. May need a new battery as it does not appear to be holding its charge terribly well if it's parked for a few days, that said there is an aftermarket Parrot bluetooth fitted and I am suspicious this may be causing a drain. Either way, I will try to get this rectified during the week but if I don't get a chance to get this properly sorted before sale I'll knock a good chunk off the asking price - annoyingly, time is not my friend as I have a couple of weeks to get the ST picked up.
