1995 MAZDA MX-5

For sale is my 1995 Mazda Eunos G-Ltd in Mica Blue with the Rocketeer 3.0 Jaguar AJ30 V6 engine conversion having been carried out.

I have owned the car since 2018 and I bought it with the intention of carrying out the Rocketeer conversion. With that in mind I carried out a lot of work to make it a sound base for the conversion; this included rust treating the underside of the car with Dinitrol and Bilt Hamber products (with pictures of the process available), blasting and powder coating all suspension components and rebushing them with OE rubber bushes before reassembly. I have also had the inner and outer rear sills professionally replaced (pictures of the work available) which is a very common failure point on these MX5s.

I then carried out the Rocketeer conversion in 2019. This conversion is accomplished by mating a 3.0l Jaguar AJ30 V6 from a Jaguar S-Type to the Mazda drivetrain. This is done with a custom front subframe, gearbox adaptor plate, engine mounts and MBE ECU and wiring loom along with many other supporting modifications. Since then it has been kept up to date with the latest software updates from Rocketeer for the MBE ECU. The car drives very well and has been maintained thoroughly throughout my ownership. It has recently had an inspection carried out by the technicians at Rocketeer and passed with flying colours.

The car presents very well with the paint in excellent condition and is a very solid car that I have enjoyed working on and driving. It has had a lot of work and upgrades carried out over my ownership, which I have listed below. Any inspection is welcome as are any questions. The odometer of the car shows 214,000 miles. However, the true mileage is less than this as this is a Japanese import and would have been recording in km up until it was imported in 2008.

Overall this has been a very fun car and one I believe to be in excellent condition.
