1971 MG B

This beautiful 1971 MGB GT Roadster V8 conversion has been in the hands of its current owner since 1999. Stored in a temperature controlled storage facility as part of a 30 car collection and used sparingly, it is in as immaculate condition today as it was 32 years ago when it was subject to a full restoration by the renowned MG specialists Gwent MG Centre and Tamar Valley MG Centre.

It was converted using a Rover 3.5Ltr V8 with SU Carbs, LT77 Rover 5 speed gearbox and Moss uprated front suspension and brakes.

The history file contains various invoices describing the work carried out during the full restoration and conversion, it also contains photographic evidence of the extensive bodywork rebuild. MOTs are also available from 1995.

The paintwork is finished in Navy Blue and is in immaculate condition with no signs of corrosion. The hood and tonneau cover are also in also Navy Blue with a clear rear window. The original style roof bag is also present along with the toolkit and jack.

The wheels are 15" Minilights painted in Anthracite with a polished rim and chromed two ear knock offs. These are fitted with Michelin tyres.

The interior is tastefully finished with dark grey leather seats, matching door cards and grey carpets. The dashboard is Walnut and is fitted with the original style Smiths gauges and a Pioneer cassette player. All finished off with a 3 spoke Moto Lita steering wheel.
