The original 987 Cayman was built on the excellence of the Boxster to give Porsche buyers a genuine alternative to the 911 coupe. Mid-engined dynamics make these cars more practical that their rear-engined cousins and they became hugely popular.

The S model dialled up performance to 300bhp from the 3.4L flat six. This silver over black 987.1 is fitted with the slick manual box, and, as you cannot fail to notice, some neat Martini graphics.
