1999 PORSCHE BOXSTER

A highly original and cherished example of the early 986 Boxster, presented in the iconic 'Launch Specification' of Arctic Silver over Special Boxster Red Leather. This is a Finnish-built Valmet production car and comes with a comprehensive service history (17 maintenance record stamps), 2 working keys, the original owner's manuals and a PCCM+ unit which was fitted in 2022.

To my knowledge this is currently the only 2.5L example listed in the UK in this specification. Although ~4,000 2.5l models were originally produced for the UK market and many (~1/3) of those in Arctic silver, it is estimated only ~6-7% were ordered with Boxster Red interior. The number of original cars, in good condition with modest (and honest) milleage left in this spec is likely <50 (How Many Left lists ~2,502 '96 - '99 cars).

- Lux Pack (P62) - Climate Control (AC), On-board Computer, and Wind Deflector.

Car is in good working order, drives great and has recently passed its MOT. I purchased it in 2022 and it has been in a dry storage facility. Body work, hood and interior are all in good condition.

I had intended to source a period correct CDR22 and have the front lights taken back to factory grade and enjoy the car but unfortunately haven't had time due to family commitments. I will (reluctantly) list it for 2 months, until mid-June and if it doesn't sell will opt to keep it in the collection.
