1998 LOTUS ELISE

I am offering for sale my 1998 Lotus Elise S1 in Norfolk Mustard with black upholstery.

I have owned this car since June 2023, and have completed just under 4,000 miles since. The car's total mileage is 28,849 miles though this may marginally increase with occasional use.

The car is a "blue glue" car, and the tub is in overall good condition with full structural integrity and no signs of corrosion at the usual points. Bodywork is in good condition for it's age, with no significant blemishes or damage.

The car comes with the factory headlight covers which were removed by a previous owner, and a factory soft top, as well as two keys and the owners pack.

It is also equpped with the short ratio PG-1 gearbox. Around 2005 it was fitted with a Minister Power 160 sport kit, denoted by the red cam cover, bringing the drivetrain up to near Elise Sport 160 specification. Supporting paperwork is included.

This car underwent a 'C' service including a new cam belt, spark plugs, fuel filter and front brake pads in May of last year, and has a detailed history spread between the maintenance record book, service receipts and MOT certificates. It has also received a refurbished gauge cluster under my ownership.

The car drives well and without issue and has been reliable, always starting on the key turn.
