• Engine Overhaul (February 2026 @ 96,160 miles): Complete New Timing Kit and Chain installed. At the same time, two new VVTs (Variable Valve Timing) were fitted and the tappets were reconditioned. This engine is now exceptionally quiet, smooth, and future-proofed.

• New Rear Subframe (2021 @ 79,003 miles): Replaced by previous owner and done by Mercedes-Benz Coventry. This is a critical (and expensive) fix that removes the common corrosion issues found on this era of SLK.

• Braking (February 2026 @ 96,190 miles): Brand new brake discs and pads fitted front and rear. New front NS and OS arm ball joints installed for tight, precise handling.

• Air Filter: New air filter and Air Intake hose in March 2026.

• MOT: Long MOT until December 2026
