History

Originally purchased in September 2010, from Arnold Clark of Carlisle, it was driven from the dealership to the country home address, where it remained un-used – although still serviced each year (trailered to & from dealership).

The vehicle was then purchased by it’s second custodian in January 2015, and again was not used, but was instead added to part of a Ford RS collection.

Of course, all the original booklets are with the vehicle, in the correct ford wallet. This includes the original vinyl repair sheet as well.

Body & Paintwork

As per factory finish, this Focus RS500 maintains the original 3M Scotchcal Series 85 Matt Wrap.

Commonly removed & either replaced with a different Matt vinyl which is more hardwearing, or removed in favour of revealing the Panther Black paintwork underneath.

Either way, this has made examples with original foil wraps, in good condition, rarer & rarer.

It is also common knowledge that some of the cars had defects when new, as is the nature with a wrap. Some cars were better than others, & this is one of the better ones.

We have had several very low mileage Focus RS500’s & all had far more original imperfections than this example.

Of course the wheels are original, never having had any repairs, & they look stunning.

The Red calliper’s look brand new & finish the overall appearance off perfectly.

The car has no storage dents, scratches, and no vinyl repairs, it is as the day it was collected from the dealership.

Interior & Trim

Absolutely out of the box – stunning!!

The black with red stitching is the perfect interior for the Focus RS500, Ford really got it right with these.

As you would expect, the interior is simply unmarked.

Everything works just as it should do of course.

The steering wheel, gear knob, pedals, floor mats, all of them are in perfect condition, as of course, are the gorgeous Dynamica Recaro seats.

Engine

What an engine!

The car bursts in to life, and runs beautifully.

With only 39 miles from new, & 11 services, of course everything is in perfect running order.

Released with 345bhp, the Focus RS500 is still very much a force to be reckoned with & is already regarded as a future classic Ford RS with prices climbing.

Running Gear

All running gear is as new, even the tyres have the ‘knobbles’ remaining.

Of course with the mileage being so low, everything is as new.
