Overview

Following Fiat's 2012 announcement to revive the 124 Spider nameplate, the resulting car featured new bodywork designed to bridge the gap to the original Pininfarina-designed 124 Sport Spider of 1966, underpinned with running gear developed jointly with Mazda. Under the bonnet sits Fiat's own MultiAir turbocharged 1.4-litre four, producing 140 bhp and 177 lb ft, matched to a six-speed manual gearbox driving the rear wheels. It may but true that it’s more boulevardier than barnstormer, but the 124 is a car built for warm evenings, winding roads and roof-down fun.

The Lusso trim on this example features a full leather interior, heated seats, climate control, body-coloured mirror caps, chrome-ringed turbine-style air vents and twin chrome-tipped exhausts, all combining to give it a more grown-up, grand-touring feel. For anyone whose idea of a perfect Sunday involves sunset cruising rather than apex hunting, it's the one to have.

This particular car is finished in white over saddle tan quilted leather with cream contrast stitching, and rides on 17-inch 15-spoke silver alloys shod in fresh Bridgestone Potenza Sport rubber. Inside, you'll find heated seats and Mazda-derived MZD Connect infotainment. The overall impression from the photos is genuinely fresh.

Then there's the mileage. Having seen only light use and dry-stored between 2022 and 2025, there’s just 2,023 miles on the clock, confirmed by a continuous paper trail running from the original sales invoice of March 2018 (recording 650 miles at first transfer) through three MOT readings up to the current certificate. Better still, the big-ticket maintenance is already in the rear-view mirror: fresh cam belt and water pump in February 2026, full service and MOT in January 2026, new Mopar battery, and four matching tyres the same month. In short, it’s as close as you're likely to come to a brand new one at this stage so if one of these takes your fancy, then surely this is the one to have.

History and documentation

  • First registered 13 Jul 2017

  • One previous keeper; current owner acquired the car on 28 Mar 2018 at 650 miles via Stoneacre Motor Group, with the original supply invoice present in the history file

  • The vendor reports the car was dry-stored on SORN between 2022 and 2025 in garaged conditions

  • Service history as follows: Jan 2026 @ 1,973 miles (full service, MOT pass and new battery at a Bosch-accredited independent in North Finchley, London), Feb 2026 @ 2,003 miles (cam belt and water pump with SKF kit at a specialist in North Finchley), Feb 2026 @ 2,008 miles (four matching Bridgestone Potenza Sport EVO tyres fitted at Kwik Fit)

  • Three recorded MOT tests on file, all passes, with two recorded mileage readings of 1,972 miles in Oct 2023 and 1,973 miles in Jan 2026 corroborating the remarkably low total

  • Current MOT valid until 25 Jan 2027

  • Two original Fiat flip-style remote key fobs supplied, along with a leather keyring

  • Original Fiat-branded document wallet containing the factory owner's handbook

  • HPI clear

  • London ULEZ compliant

Interior

  • Roof-down, the cabin is a real event, with saddle tan leather set against a black dashboard, body-coloured door tops and crisp cream contrast stitching

  • Seats present as near-unworn with no visible creasing, sagging or bolster wear on either side, in keeping with the low mileage

  • Leather dash topper and door card inserts are in similarly fresh condition, with tight, even stitching and no sun fade

  • Chrome-ringed turbine-style air vents, piano-black trim strip and single-zone automatic rotary climate controls all present cleanly

  • Leather-wrapped Fiat multifunction steering wheel with red contrast stitching shows no shine or wear to the rim

  • Six-speed manual gearbox with leather-gaitered shifter and handbrake, both with orange contrast stitching and no fraying

  • Mazda-derived MZD Connect infotainment with tablet-style screen, rotary controller and dedicated NAV, favourite and mute buttons, all unmarked

  • Heated seats with three-stage adjustment fitted, a welcome touch for open-top motoring

  • Branded '124 spider' floor mats in place and carpets appear unmarked

  • Lockable between-seats storage cubby and boot compartment both clean and undamaged, with factory carpet lining intact

  • Dashcam neatly fitted to the upper windscreen

  • All switchgear, gauges and electrics are reported by the vendor to be in full working order

Exterior

  • Finished in White with contrasting silver-painted roll hoops and body-coloured mirror caps

  • The vendor tells us there are no meaningful scratches or dents to the bodywork

  • Panel gaps along the bonnet, doors, wings and rear deck appear even and consistent throughout

  • Paintwork presents with a glossy, even finish; a very minor blemish is faintly visible on the leading edge of the nearside front wing above the wheel

  • Signature twin power-bulge bonnet, chromed Fiat roundel and honeycomb lower grille all in good order

  • Projector headlamp lenses and chrome-surround fog lamp housings are clear with no yellowing, crazing or moisture ingress

  • 17-inch 15-spoke silver alloy wheels present cleanly with no kerb rash visible on any corner, locking wheel nuts fitted

  • Fresh Bridgestone Potenza Sport EVO 205/45 R17 tyres all round, fitted in February 2026

  • Black fabric soft-top sits taut with no visible tears, sagging or discolouration

  • Twin chrome-tipped exhaust finishers

  • Rear parking sensors fitted

  • Underside shows factory plastic undertrays and heat shielding largely intact, with only light surface oxidation on suspension hardware consistent with age

  • No obvious signs of significant corrosion, accident damage or fluid leaks visible from underneath

Mechanical

  • 1.4-litre MultiAir turbocharged four-cylinder petrol producing 140 bhp and 177 lb ft

  • Six-speed manual gearbox driving the rear wheels

  • Manufacturer figures quote 0-62 mph in 7.5 seconds and a top speed of 134 mph

  • Factory-original Garrett turbocharger and Fiat MultiAir turbo engine cover present, with no signs of aftermarket tampering

  • Mopar EFB Heavy Duty battery fitted as part of the January 2026 service

  • Cam belt and water pump replaced using an SKF kit in February 2026 at a local specialist, a significant preventative milestone now ticked off

  • Full service and MOT completed January 2026 at a Bosch-accredited independent in North Finchley, London

  • During the January 2026 service, the specialist carried out a borescope inspection of all four cylinders and recorded no damage; cylinder bores and cam carriers were re-oiled, compression rebuilt and the car subsequently started and road tested satisfactorily

  • Brake pads and discs inspected at the 2026 service and reported to be in good order

  • The vendor tells us the car runs perfectly, with no untoward sounds or smoke from the engine and no outstanding mechanical issues

  • With cam belt, water pump, service, battery and tyres all freshly attended to, there's nothing on the near-term maintenance horizon and the car is ready to be used and enjoyed straight away

Summary

Open-top, rear-wheel drive, six-speed manual, tan leather, white paint and barely 2,000 miles under its belt. The Lusso MultiAir is the 124 Spider at its most indulgent, a properly Italian take on the Fiat-Mazda joint venture that trades hard-edged intent of the racier MX-5s for relaxed, grand-touring character. It's a rarer sight on UK roads than the MX-5 it shares its bones with, and examples this fresh, with this much documentation and this much recent preventative work, simply don't appear often.

Cam belt done, water pump done, tyres done, service done, MOT until January 2027. The hard yards are behind it. All that's left is to pick a warm Sunday, drop the roof and find a road worth the trip.
