Professionally developed to approximately 500BHP, this car combines explosive performance with exceptional provenance. It spent 13 years in the ownership of respected race engineer Martin Cheetham before coming into my care and has since been maintained exclusively by DTB Motorsport at Mallory Park, one of the UK's leading Noble specialists.

Ownership & Provenance

From 2011 until 2024 this Noble was owned by Martin Cheetham, founder of Martin Cheetham Race and Supercar Specialists. Anyone familiar with the marque will appreciate what that means. The car benefited from long-term ownership by someone who understood exactly how these cars should be maintained and set up.

During my ownership it has continued to receive the same level of specialist attention, with all servicing entrusted to Dave at DTB Motorsport.

The most recent service and MOT were completed on 8 April 2026, including a new battery and professionally installed hard-wired trickle charger. Following inspection there were no advisory mechanical issues requiring attention other than a simple handbrake adjustment.

In March 2025 the gearbox and clutch were professionally rebuilt, giving complete confidence for the next owner.

Condition

Mechanically the car is excellent and drives exactly as a properly sorted Noble should. It starts instantly, boosts cleanly and delivers the raw, analogue driving experience these cars have become famous for.

The bodywork presents extremely well for its age and mileage.

In the interests of complete transparency, there are a few age-related imperfections:

Small crack in one headlight lens which can allow slight condensation in damp weather

Wear to the front seat bolsters consistent with age

Small mark on the driver's door (shown in photographs)

None of these detract from the driving experience, but I'd rather describe the car honestly than have any surprises for a buyer.

The MOT history reflects the way this car has been used and maintained, covering relatively low annual mileage throughout its life with consistent passes and excellent maintenance.

Final Thoughts

The M12 GTO-3R has become one of Britain's most respected analogue performance cars. With around one tonne to move, twin turbos, no traction control and no electronic safety net, it delivers a level of driver involvement that simply doesn't exist in modern performance cars.

Finding a GTO-3R is becoming increasingly difficult. Finding one with this ownership history, specialist maintenance record, professionally developed 500BHP specification and comprehensive documentation is rarer still.
