2004 NOBLE GTO3R

The Noble M12 GTO-3R is one of Britain's most celebrated driver's cars - and this particular example is one of the most interesting you'll find anywhere.

Built by Noble Automotive in Leicester, the M12 GTO-3R was the definitive evolution of the M12 line: a mid-engined, twin-turbocharged, rear-wheel-drive projectile tipping the scales at around 1,000kg with no ABS or traction control to dilute the experience.

The 3.0-litre Ford-derived twin-turbo V6 in standard GTO-3R specification produces 352bhp - but this car was built out to run at 500BHP, pushing the power-to-weight ratio into supercar-destroying territory. It is, in every sense, a car that demands your full attention.

It truly defines a racing car for the road. This car is fast! ANd attention grabbing - Kids stop and take pictures - Adults stop and take pictures!

Provenance

From 2011 to 2024, this car was the personal vehicle of Martin Cheetham - the renowned race engineer behind Martin Cheetham Race and Supercar Specialists. It wasn't sitting in a collection. It was owned, used, and understood by someone who knew exactly what it was. That kind of custodianship matters.

I have a folder of receipts for works done and may previous MOT certificates.

Current Ownership & Maintenance

In just over two years of current ownership, the car has been on 3 no-expense-spared trips to Dave at DTB Motorsport at Mallory Park - one of a tiny handful of genuine Noble specialists in the country, and the only place a serious owner would take one of these.

Most recent major service and health check: 8th April 2026, including a new battery and hard-wired trickle charger installed. To quote Dave - “Hi mate, service and MOT done she’s looking good, other than handbrake adjustment I don’t think there’s anything to report.”

Gearbox and clutch fully rebuilt: March 2025.

Mechanically, the car is in excellent shape.

Known Faults (in the spirit of full transparency)

Small crack in the headlight glass - causes minor fogging in damp conditions

Front bolsters showing age-appropriate wear - this is a 21-year-old track weapon, not a showroom ornament
