We are delighted to offer this superb Alfa Romeo Spider 1300 Junior on behalf of a lovely GQ client.

The Quintessential Italian Roadster.

There is a reason the Alfa Romeo Spider remained in production for nearly three decades, but purists know the 1300 Junior is where the soul of the car truly shines. Introduced to offer the same Pininfarina elegance with a more spirited, high-revving heart, the Junior is widely considered the most "balanced" of the classic Spiders.

This example embodies throughout the absolute best of the best.

​Highlights & Condition:

​Engine: The car benefits from an upgraded 2000 Twin-Cam inline-four. It’s not about raw 0–60 times; it’s about the mechanical symphony of the twin Weber carburetors and that iconic Alfa exhaust note.

​Transmission: 5-speed manual gearbox (snick-snick shifting at its finest).

​Design: Timeless Pininfarina bodywork in a lovely Bianco Farina White. This is the Roundtail era, featuring the iconic "scalloped" side flanks and minimal chrome.

​Interior: Classic black vinyl bucket seats, the iconic three-spoke steering wheel, and period correct Jaeger Italia gauges that transport you straight to the Amalfi Coast. There’s also the addition of modern inertia seatbelts.

​Mechanical & Maintenance:

​History: This fantastic example has a meticulously documented history with no expense spared when it has come to maintenance. From any mechanical work to body/chassis related works, it has all been filed to truly show how this fantastic example has been cherished. Also recently benefiting from just over £3k of works of both bodywork and mechanicals.

Body & ​Chassis: Structurally sound with particular care and attention paid both top side and underside. The paint and brightwork is all in fantastic condition when baring in mind it is a 57 year old car. Also with a new convertible hood fitted, it hugely benefits the car both cosmetically and operationally.

​Drive: Tight suspension and responsive steering. This car doesn't just drive; it dances through corners.

​The 1750 and 2000 variants offer more torque than the 1300 and captures the optimistic spirit of 1960s/70s Italy like no other machine. Ultimately this example embodies all of this when it comes to its condition and provenance.
