Mechanical

This is one of the very last T2s to feature the iconic 1600cc air cooled engine, which at this point was at the pinnacle of its design and engineering. Featuring fuel injection with electronic ignition as a massive improvement to the older carburettor models.

This makes a big difference to performance and practicality eliminating the constant need to fiddle with carbs.

The engine has just had a full major service.

The bus also has a power steering upgrade that makes for far easier parking and is more pleasurable on longer journeys. Retrofitted parking sensors. Heated rear screen.

Pop Top Roof

Danbury pop top roof provides significantly increased headroom allowing most adults to stand comfortably inside of the bus.

Roof has gas strut elevation for ease of use making it effortless to put up.

Bodywork & Paint

Beautifully finished in blue / candy white. Colour coded front spare wheel carrier with VW badge on front and stainless carrier band.

The bodywork presents very well throughout with a glass like shine to the paintwork that we have prepared to a high standard. The bus has always been dry stored and cared for meticulously throughout its life.
