The Aston Martin Cygnet stands as one of the most unusual and controversial models in the marque’s history, conceived in the late 2000s as a response to tightening European emissions regulations and increasing urban congestion. While its 1.3-litre engine and modest performance remained largely unchanged, the focus was on luxury, with a redesigned exterior and a meticulously crafted interior featuring hand-stitched leather and high-end materials. Comfortable, refined, and well-suited to city driving, it offered a unique ownership experience despite limited sales, leading to its discontinuation in 2013. First registered in 2011, this right-hand drive Aston Martin Cygnet was supplied new by Aston Martin Edinburgh and is believed to be one of approximately 150 UK-delivered examples.
