Originally supplied to FCE Bank PLC (Ford Credit Europe) as a demonstration vehicle and sold to its first private owner when it was just 3 months old. The car has subsequently had only two further keepers, with the current owner having been custodian for 5 years. We have a large stack of service, parts and maintenance invoices totalling over £4,000, spanning from 2005 to 2026! We also have a stamped service book at 9.1K, 11.4K, 15.1K, 22.7K, 25.4K, 33.1K, 39.2K, 64K, 65K and 65.5K (additional service invoices in the history folder). The car runs and drives very well indeed with a great smoke free, quiet and powerful 2.0 petrol engine. The gearbox is tight & precise with a decent midway biting point on the clutch. The steering, brakes and suspension are free from any unwanted noises, its actually really nice to drive. Tye car uses no fluids and has no fluid leaks to speak of whatsoever. The air conditioning, electric windows, remote locking, electric mirrors, and sound system all work as they should. The bodywork is unfortunately showing its age with small areas of lacquer peal on the bonnet, scratches most notable on the passanger rear door, the rear bumper and rear arches have been painted and to a poor standard, rear quarter by the filler cap has been painted poorly, small front bumper scuff and various car park dints. With the cars rareity, provenance, history portfolio and low mileage then im sure somebody will want to restore it to its former glory. That said, its still presentable and a good retro daily driver.
