2014 PORSCHE 911

The one most PH'ers will recognise: 991.1 Carrera 3.4, 350 PS, PDK. Last of the naturally aspirated base cars before the 991.2 moved everything across to the 3.0 twin-turbo. This one's in Sapphire Blue Metallic over black leather with roughly £11k of factory options and a Porsche-heavy service record. HPFP, thermostat, and exhaust brackets all already addressed under my ownership.

Ownership -

Owned since September 2025 (4th owner). Used as intended - daily commutes and proper holiday miles, including trips to Scotland, France and longer loops through Europe. Around 10,000 miles added under my ownership, which means the car has been driven rather than stood.

Why this one -

• Last-of-line 9A1 naturally aspirated flat-six - the 991.1 Carrera's character is meaningfully different to the 991.2 and increasingly sought after

Work done under my ownership -

The warranty has been actively utilised and if you know the platform, this is a list of positives, not negatives:

• High-pressure fuel pump replaced under Porsche Approved Warranty - the HPFP is the component most likely to surface on direct-injection 9A1 engines at this age. Now renewed with a genuine Porsche part.

• Thermostat replaced under Porsche Approved Warranty - known 9A1 item, addressed with genuine parts.

• Exhaust mounting brackets replaced - known 991.1 item on cars fitted with PSE, where the brackets fail and the system starts to rattle. Addressed properly with correct parts rather than fudged.

All warranty claim records held by the Porsche Centre that carried out the work and can be confirmed against the VIN on request. These are exactly the items PH'ers know to ask about on 991.1 Carreras of this age - the difference here is they're done, not still to do, and all with genuine Porsche parts at Porsche's expense. A significant chunk of the classic "what might go wrong next" list has already been worked through.

Condition - honest -

Cosmetic wear commensurate with an 11-year-old car that's been used rather than garaged:

• Stone chips to the front end (typical of motorway use)

• Light scratches along the sides

• Minor chips to the rear

• Small dent to the fuel filler cap

A carVertical history check on the VIN shows a May 2022 condition assessment relating to the rear - prior to my ownership by three-plus years. I've inspected the rear panels visually and the car presents as factory/OEM to my eye: panel gaps consistent, no obvious overspray or paint irregularities. I haven't run a paint-depth gauge over it, so bring one to viewing if you want to verify - encouraged. Serviced at Porsche Centres throughout my ownership with no related issues flagged.

Mechanically sound, no current faults, no warnings. Full photo set including honest close-ups of all disclosed items. Pre-purchase inspection at any Porsche Centre or Porsche specialist welcome - I'll expect it.
