1972 Factory built Lotus Elan Sprint DHC for sale. Carnival red over Cirrus white Gold leaf team Lotus colours. 'Barn find' 1999 with a complete body off rebuild 1999-2000 at 61300 miles including full engine rebuild, Dellorto carbs exchanged. Lots of photos and bills. Kenlowe fan fitted 2006, In last 10 years new master cylinder and clutch slave fitted. New oil pump 2014.New driveshaft doughnuts in 2015. Electrical overhaul in 2016 with new dash and engine looms and dashboard, heater matrix and fan motor overhaul. Colin Chapman signature steering wheel. The car still has its original paint. Lotus black steel knock on wheels with stainless rimbellishers.

Comes with hood, tonneau cover, original handbook and Lotus certificate of provenance.

I have recently changed the engine oil, filter and spark plugs, gearbox oil, brake and clutch fluid and repaired the drivers window cable. Timing chain checked and new rocker cover gasket fitted. Only driven in the dry (as shown by hood not fitted!). Garage stored. Also comes with spare dashboard, original fan and other sundries. I am not using the car as much as I hoped when I bought it so it needs to go to somebody who will use it.
