Description
DHW 910 left the factory in May 1937, it would have been one of the last pre-war Morgan Super Sport before the factory closed production. Not much is known of its history until it was purchased by Ken Galloway in 1971. Ken is an engineer who embarked on an extensive and painstaking restoration. Ken said he had originally wanted to start that straight away but he didn't actually seriously get going on it until 1999 when he finally had time after retiring. It took 4 years! Although not the original or correct engine for the Super Sport indeed the J.A.P(LTOWZ) was fitted to the earlier SS up to 1935, it sounds great and more importantly drives fantastically. So much so that the next owner used the 3-wheeler for both normal roads and for some hill climbs. The next owner had the engine rebuilt by Peter Thompson, an expert on J.A.P engines. He fitted new piston, valves, springs, valve guides, unions and pushrods, water jacket plugs, and the clutch was relined. The car comes with a lot of spare parts to help keep the car on the road. There is also a well-documented file with receipts, schematics, and notes on what has happened to the car in previous years. Included in the sale are copies of 'The Bulletin' and Morgan 3 wheeler club magazine dates from 2016-2025. Spec 1.1litre J.A.P, side valve, water cooled engine(LTOWZ) 3 speed gear box 6 Volt starter but 12v backup Exterior Finished in blue gloss Chrome cowl Stork radiator cap included Interior Black leather seating Oak dashboard.
