2008 JAGUAR XKR

I've owned this XKR for the last 12 years. Only selling due to mobility issues. At 45000 miles the engine was rebuild after a 0.010" rebore after a ring failure. JE Pistons on California made me some custom forged and Teflon lined pistons. The crank was polished and all bottom end bearings were renewed.

The car has a 6% reduction supercharger pulley fitted, k&n filters, Mina gallery 200 cell sports cats and a Milltek cat back exhaust with custom tailpipes.

It was tuned by PVE in Somerset and gave 478bhp & 450lbs/ft.

It has a Quaife Lsd fitted. Both front and rear subframes have been replaced,( the only thing that really rusts on these!)

The front subframe was swapped for an F type aluminium one, along with all the lower control arms. The car has XKR-S Bilstein shocks and H&R lowering springs fitted.

The front Brakes are an Alcon conversion with 6 pot calipers and 400mm discs ( pads and discs replaced 3000miles ago)

The rear Brakes are a late model Xkr conversion with 376mm discs.

The gearbox had an oil change and alloy sump fitted to replace the plastic Oe one.

The car had a 3/4 respray in 2022 to tidy up some stone chips and blemishes, not for body damage! Only the rear bumper and tailgate weren't painted.

The car has been my hobby, so not wanted for anything. I have a file of receipts which add up to more than £30k. Most recently the aircon compressor was replaced at a cost of over £1000.

The car has a full service history, carried out by myself for the last 12 years,( oil/ filter changes brake changes etc) Jaguar specialist work for the jobs I didn't or couldn't do.

I'm a retired engineer, so more than qualified!

The car needs a new owner who will appreciate that it's far from a bog standard XKR. The underside of the car is very clean having has many components powder coated.
