Right, have a look at this - this little gem has just turned up from Motability, and honestly, its been treated better than most people treat their own family. One owner from new, full service history this cars basically been raised like a beloved pet. Probably had a bedtime.

Its the kind of car that makes sense, which I know isnt very exciting, but stick with me. Perfect first car, or a second car for the household when no one can agree whos taking the good one. Its small, its easy, it zips around town without any drama. School run? Sorted. Quick shop? Easy. General life admin that you cant be bothered with? This will at least make it slightly less painful.

Spec-wise, its actually decent - sat nav, reverse camera and sensors, which means you wont panic every time you see a tight parking space. Its got Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, so you can do your maps, calls, messages, all thatlegally, obviously - through the screen. Climate control too, so you can argue about the temperature in a more sophisticated way.

And then, just to calm your nerves completely, it comes with a fresh MOT and service and its still under Kia warranty until 2029. 2029! Thats ages away. Thats basically future-yous problem, and even then, probably not.
So yeah, its not flashy, its not pretending to be something its notbut its solid, looked after, and just quietly gets on with the job. Which, if were being honest, is more than most of us can say.
