1991 HI-TECH AUTOMOTIVE COBRA MK III

Hi-Tech Automotive Cob 019.

For those who are not aware Hi-Tech currently produce the Supeformance and Legends cars and previously built Noble and the AC 378 GT Zagato.

This car is one of 11 prototypes built by them in 1991/92.

For the purpose of records, Jimmy Price who founded and still is at Hi-Tech was able to confirm the fact of what it is, and in addition offered the information that he himself worked on porting the engine amongst other work.

The body shape has not changed from this time through to the current sp mk III.

The rear set upat that time is a combination of the jag rear end with their own design which is seen on later and current cars.

It has. 351 windsor engine and t5 gearbox.

Initially the car would have had rear exhausts but earlier on, was converted to side pipes.

Fresh tyres on Halibrand type knock on wheels. Although I would sugges a narrower tyre on the front would suit it better.

Currently showing 32600 km. It was imported in 2025 and is on a P.plate - UK.
