It is with a heavy heart that I am putting my 2004 Honda S2000 up for sale. This is a completely standard, unmodified, and unmolested facelift example finished in beautiful Royal Navy Blue Pearl. It has been garaged for the vast majority of its life, cherished during my four years of ownership, and wants for nothing.

My reason for selling is consolidating two cars down to one. Both this and my manual B8 Audi S4 will make way for a Porsche Boxster S. I am an enthusiast owner, and the car is completely sound having been serviced at TGM Sport and used regularly despite the low mileage.

Condition

The car presents extremely well and reflects its very low mileage. Because it has been garaged, the paintwork retains a deep, glossy shine, and the car honestly looks spectacular.

Exterior: As an honest seller, I want to note that there are of course very minor signs of its age. There is a tiny scuff on one wing mirror (see pictures), and very few and small stone chips and light bug staining on the front bumper from road trips, but it is otherwise in excellent condition. The wheel arches are original, unrolled, and free from rust.

Interior: The cabin is outstanding, truly mint. The driver’s seat bolster is in perfect condition (pictured) which is a common weak point. All electrics work exactly as they should, and it retains its original, unmolested factory feel.

Soft Top: The price includes a brand new Mohair soft top fitment (universally considered the superior upgrade to the OEM vinyl), as the original glass seal has begun to perish. This work is scheduled to be completed prior to sale, ensuring the new owner has years of maintenance-free motoring. However, if a buyer would prefer to manage the replacement themselves, I am open to a price negotiation to reflect this.

Key Details, Maintenance & MOT

Mechanically, the car is absolutely sound. During my ownership, it has been looked after by the renowned S2000 specialists TGM Sport.

Service History: The car has a full service history during its life on the road. The significant gap in mileage between 2012 and 2022 represents a period of dry storage within a substantial private collection. This accounts for the remarkably low mileage and the preserved condition of the interior and underside. As the car is due a service, I have intentionally left this for the new owner to choose their specialist workshop and consumables, rather than rush it through a local garage for a cheap stamp in the book.

MOT: Valid until 17th November 2026. The history is available online, and is exceptionally clean for a 20-year-old car, having only ever failed historically on minor items like washer fluid or a split CV boot (which was immediately repaired).

Brakes & Tyres: You will see on the latest MOT that the front brake discs/pads are low / tyres are cracking due to age. The rear tyres were replaced in September 2023 with a new pair of OEM-equivalent Bridgestone Potenza Sports and have only covered 3700 miles.

Underside: There was an advisory for "light corrosion" in 2024. This is light surface oxidation commensurate with the age of the car. The underside is in very good condition for its age.

Summary on Maintenance: While the price includes the brand new Mohair roof fitment, I have left the upcoming service, front brakes, and front tyres for the new owner to address, rather than rushing it through a local garage.
