2006 HONDA S2000

For sale is my lovely 2006 Honda S2000 manual, finished in the desirable Silverstone Silver with black leather interior and original re-trimmed seats in a lovely contrasting Red after the iconic Honda Red. The car has covered just shy of 71,000 miles, has MOT until September 2026 (a fresh MOT can be provided for the new owner) and shows 5 previous owners (current owner since February 2021) and is fully HPI clear.

The bodywork is in excellent condition having received bodyshop treatment on the front end to address stone chips picked up during its life together with a respray of the rear bumper to address the number plate mount coming away from the bumper. All panels are free from any blemishes and no rust is present anywhere including the common rear arches. The boot floor has been cleaned up and treated to prevent any rusting. All wheels were also refurbished and all tyres have plenty of life.

The roof has been replaced with an invoice provided by HoodTech in Chester together with installation of an internal layer to help soften the interior. The straps for the operation of the roof frame are taught and not slack as they were replaced at the same time as the roof material. The rear is glass and not the plastic rear.

Moving inside, things are very good with very little wear and tear with the seats having been re-trimmed by a local company in South Wales in high end Italian Leather to give as smooth grain as possible to match Nappa Leather as close as possible. All cushions and bolsters were replaced at the same time and the colour was chosen to strikingly contrast the rest of the interior and are in "as new" condition.

Mechanically the car has been very well maintained with a huge folder of receipts, with a refinished rocker cover in Honda Red with crinkle paint. I have only ever serviced this myself with Honda Blue S2000 oil filters, high quality oil from Opie Oils and a K&N panel filter has been installed. Front brake calipers have also been replaced due to common issues around seizing up. The timing chain tensioner and battery have been replaced in April 2024 with genuine Honda items along with a oil service.

Overall, this is a great chance for someone to own a later S2000 with the desirable facelift front and rear ends together with being in excellent mechanical condition. The new owners will have years of trouble free motoring with key repairs being carried out of a replacement roof, re-trimmed seats, refurbished wheels and various other repairs and comes with both keys and fobs.
