Overview

A rare opportunity to acquire one of the final left-hand-drive Series 1 E-Type Roadsters, built just before the transition to the Series 1.5 in September 1967.

Originally delivered new to Michigan in Carmen Red over Black, this example was later discovered in New York and acquired by its current owner in 2012. Imported to the UK in 2013, it was selected as the basis for a comprehensive, nut-and-bolt rebuild — not simply to restore the car, but to create a properly usable, driver-focused E-Type.

Finished today in Old English White with a rich red leather interior, the car has been converted to right-hand drive and carefully upgraded to deliver a more confidence-inspiring and enjoyable driving experience, while retaining the character and feel of a Series 1.

This is not an over-restored, static example — it is a well-considered “fast road” E-Type, set up for real-world use.
