2003 MG ZR

I have owned this little car for about six years. I originally bought it to do a few hillclimbs while my Lotus Elise 111S was being repaired (same engine!).

During my ownership I have done the following:

Replaced the clutch.

Engine oil service, new spark plugs.

Repaired both rear sills (for MOT).

New tyres: Continental Premium Contact 6s

Bought an extra set of wheels and put on new Yokohama AO52s. These are brilliant for track work. They have probably only done less than 50 miles on the car (included in price).

Replaced the battery (2023)

Replaced exhaust system: Center section and rear silencer.

New rear brake discs.

New LH rear caliper (for handbrake MOT fail)

Mileage is now 100540, MOT until 19/8/26.

The car is (as you can see in the pics) a little tatty - there are scratches on the rear bumper, the lacquer on the spoiler is peeling etc. The headlining is sagging, the A/C doesn’t work.

But it still goes like stink!
