Finished in British Racing Green with white Le-Mans strips this classic looking AK 427 Cobra Replica built by Southern Roadcraft is now looking for a new owner.

The car has covered 18,769 miles but the digital odometer was replaced at 17,000 miles so the cars new reading is 1769. Which you will see on the MOT status.

The engine is a Chevy 350ci 5.7 litre small block V8 with aluminium cylinder heads with a holley 750cfm vacuum secondary carburettor, she is also completed with a 4 to 1 chrome side pipe, K&N filters and edelbrock elite valve covers.

Fitted with the all important manual gearbox, Jaguar brake callipers and independent suspension with adjustable coilovers, 15” Halibrand alloy wheels with wired spinners.

The period look is made up of racing decals which can be removed and includes a riveted bonnet, single hoop roll bar, Lucas style P700 tripod headlamps, drivers aluminium racing mirror, chrome fuel fillers, and wind deflectors, aluminium stone guards, double wipers, stainless side vents and correct badges.

The classic theme continues inside the car with black leather trim and matching carpets, Smiths instruments with period switches and starter button. Moto-lita wood rim steering wheel, 3 point Willans harness seat belts again in matching black. Included with the car is a black Cobra mo-hair hood and tonneau cover with side screens.

Complete with a thorough history folder including the build photos showing a registration date of August 2000.

I have owned my stunning Cobra for last 9 years, and loved every second of it. Unfortunately it is time to give her next owner the same excitement & exhilaration that my family and I have experienced over the years.

When I bought the Cobra I went through an extremely detailed exercise which ended up with me buying (in my opinion) simply the best replica Cobra on the market at that time. The same is true today, I believe it is the best replica Cobra for sale today for the money. The key things I wanted and got were - The 5.7 Chevy engine, it is the engine that everybody wants and it doesn't disappoint! Next are the twin side pipes, the noise just has to be experienced! The interior, piped leather seats with best configuration of dash board dials possible, the gearbox - from a Toyota Supra - just adds to the driving pleasure! and finally she is finished in British Racing Green with white stripes - she had a complete respray in 2011 and looks totally amazing - Photos don't do her justice, especially the professional one in the rain, but she was being photographed for a music video, another story happy to share with next owner.

The number "39" on the doors and other stickers add character and authenticity, but all of these can be removed if you prefer just looking at the beautiful lines of the Cobra.

All in all I don't believe there is a better Cobra for sale in the UK today for the money, I believe you would be spending £65,000 + to get an equivalent car from Total Head Turners or the like.
