2003 VOLVO V70

For sale is my 2005 Volvo V70R, Japanese import, 2.5-litre turbo petrol, automatic/Geartronic, AWD estate.

This is the desirable R model, with the 300bhp 2.5 turbo engine, subtle Q-car looks, huge practicality and proper Volvo performance estate character. These are becoming increasingly rare, especially in clean, well-kept condition.

The car presents very well for its age and has clearly been cared for. It has been serviced yearly and has a current MOT with around 6 months remaining.

Mileage / odometer note — please read

As this is a Japanese import, the original dash cluster was in Japanese. I had the cluster changed to an English/UK-readable unit. Unfortunately, the replacement cluster shows a much higher mileage than the car’s true history, currently over 300,000 miles. This is not the genuine mileage of the vehicle.

I will be completely open with any buyer and can explain the history of the cluster change. I can document the milage to 100,000miles. Serious buyers are welcome to inspect the paperwork and view the car properly. I have the Original Odometer and original radio head unit.... My Japanese just ins't that great!

This is not a car for someone looking for a basic cheap estate. It is best suited to a Volvo enthusiast who understands what a V70R is, appreciates the Japanese-import background, and is comfortable with the mileage-record explanation.

Condition

The car looks excellent overall for its age, drives well, and has been maintained properly. As with any 20-year-old performance car, please expect age-related marks and normal wear, but overall it is a very presentable and usable example.
