The optional Black Edition LED Matrix PDLS+ Porsche Dynamic Cornering headlights offer exceptional brightness, even in challenging conditions. The light beam pattern actually adjusts from side to side depending on speed and steering wheel movement to light up round a corner increasing your line of sight at night. The beam pattern also adjusts for oncoming traffic.

“It’s hard not to be impressed by the GTS’s pure range of ability. Select Normal via the simple rotation switch on the wheel and you get a calm ride, potent but never crazed responses from the engine and gearbox, and not too much noise from the vast tyres or the suspension that controls them, either. Twist the button round to Sport and everything steps up a notch, yet still the ride remains composed, even though you become instantly aware that the GTS has become crisper dynamically. Select Sport +, however, and the throttle response gets a lot keener, the gearbox sharper, downshifting on its own if you brake hard into a corner, while the exhaust note changes dramatically, sounding much louder under acceleration and delivering all sorts of pops and bangs under braking. Yet still the ride remains the right side of hard, even though the handling and steering both go up at least a couple of notches in their vivacity. Perhaps the most impressive aspects about the GTS dynamically, however, are the way it steers so cleanly and the way it stops so well considering its near-two ton weight. Purely to drive, the GTS is in a class of one amongst its more obvious competition. Given that Porsche has also further improved the interior design and quality – starting from an already strong place in both areas – it’s hard not to like the GTS”

Background

Production of the facelift 95B.2-series Macan GTS began in 2020, it featured a new 2.9 litre V6 Twin-turbo engine. The new Macan GTS has increased power/torque, Sport Design Bodykit, Sport Design Mirrors, reworked chassis and suspension, sculpted LED lightbar across the rear, finned lower rear splitter and LED headlights with Quad Daylight Running Lights. The interior was also enhanced, with a new dashboard design to allow for the new Porsche Communication Management PCM 5.0 System that has a larger 10.9-inch High Definition HD touchscreen. The new PCM 5.0 system came with Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Mirrorlink, DAB Digital Radio, UK and EU Navigation, Hard Drive MP3 Storage, USB-C Ports, SD Card Reader, SIM card Reader and Bluetooth Phone Connectivity.

Exterior

Our hand selected Porsche Macan GTS looks stunning in its PTS special order Miami Blue paint, an iconic colour for the Macan, especially with the Satin Black 20-inch RS Spyder alloy wheels. The paintwork condition is excellent, with no blemishes on any panel. The optional PSE Sports Exhaust System includes the stunning Polished Gloss Black Exhaust Tailpipes. The rear side windows and rear screen are tinted from the factory. The Macan GTS has been machine polished & waxed by us, which will help protect the paintwork and repel surface contaminants. All the trim has a perfect finish, as do the front and rear lights, which are free from any damage or moisture buildup. The windows drop as they should when you open the door. The engine struts and electric tailgate also operate as they should.

Interior

The Macan GTS comes with the fully electric 8-way GTS Sports Seats, along with optional 3-stage heating & Crayon GTS embroidered headrests front/rear. The rest of the Extended Black leather & Alcantara RaceTex interior with Crayon Stitching & Black Anodised Brushed Aluminium Interior Trim is in excellent condition and provides a perfect contrast to the Miami Blue bodywork.

Engine and Transmission

Our 95B.2-series Macan GTS comes fitted with the front mounted 2.9 litre V6 twin-turbo engine that produces 380 bhp and 384 ft-lb torque, which propels the all wheel drive Sport Utility Vehicle SUV to 60mph in under 4.6 seconds and on to a 162mph top speed. The axle load distribution of approximately 53:47 ensures high directional stability and superb road behaviour. The engine starts cleanly when cold or hot, there is no smoke whatsoever either at startup or when driving. There are no unusual sounds or rattles when the engine is running.

Our Macan GTS is equipped with the highly desired PASM Air Suspension, with adjustable ride height and includes the dashboard switch that stiffens the suspension in an instant, increasing connection to the road. There are three suspension Modes, COMFORT, SPORT and SPORT PLUS.

The optional 7-speed double-clutch PDK transmission system provides instant changes, unleashing the power of the engine with minimal fuss. It unlocks faster shift speeds when SPORT mode is enabled, as well as increasing throttle response and steering weight. Another addition is the exceptional Porsche Switchable Sports Exhaust PSE which significantly improves the sound of the Macan GTS on any journey, without being too loud or intrusive.

The Macan GTS is also fitted with Sport Chrono Package Plus, which adds SPORT, SPORT PLUS, INDIVIDUAL & DYNAMIC RESPONSE modes accessible on the Drive Mode Dial on the optional GT Sport Heated Alacantara Steering Wheel, that sharpen the throttle response, decreases shift speeds, hold gears for longer and blips the throttle on downshifts whilst also adding a dashboard mounted stopwatch to add to the sporting image of the Macan GTS. The headline 0-60mph time is reduced by 0.2 seconds due to this option.

Wheels, Tyres and Brakes

Our Macan GTS comes fitted with the optional 20-inch RS Spyder lightweight alloy wheels, which are original, unmarked, free of damage and corrosion. The tyres are matching Pirelli P Zero Porsche N0 rated high performance tyres with lots of tread remaining, having been recently replaced by Porsche.

The brake discs and pads are in excellent condition, the brake callipers are Guards Red & unmarked with their original Porsche lettering.
