The last owner kept the car for 9 years, with the MX-5 being garage stored for 6 of those years and used sparingly as a second vehicle. The car has clearly been maintained with enthusiasm and care throughout ownership, with supporting history including replacement sills, chassis rails and undersealing work at 67,000 miles. At 71,000 miles, alongside a full service, the timing belt was replaced. At the same time the drive belt (water pump, power steering, alternator) as well as the water pump itself were replaced.
