No warning lights, runs and drives perfectly. No knocks or bangs.

Sadly I don't use the car as much as I wish, my commute is less than 2 miles which I do by bicycle and a 3-door is no longer practical with a 14 month old baby, so all other journeys are done in the wife's Volvo!

​0 to 75,000 miles: BMW main dealer service history.

75,000 to 108,000 miles: Maintained off-the-books by the second owner’s son (a professional mechanic). No paperwork for this period, but the following was completed:

​Cooling system overhaul

​Rocker cover gasket (engine is dry, no leaks)

​New wheel bearings and washer bottle

​In my ownership at 108,000 miles: Full inspection and major service by a BMW Specialist (Engine oil, filters, brake fluid, coolant, AC belt, Aux belt, and tensioner).

​Last 400 miles (Recent Overhaul):

​Full CCV system refresh (Febi parts & silicone hoses).

​New MAF sensor, Febi intake boots, and Idle Control Valve.

​New DISA valve.

​New battery.

New headlamp washer jets

​Reconditioned rear drive shafts (replaced to fix the common corroded ABS reluctor ring/TCS fault).

​Condition

​Solid car overall. Very minor, slight signs of rust starting to show as is typical for the age, but structurally sound and mechanically sorted. The only things I know don't work are the parking sensors and the passenger electric mirror.

I wish I could keep the car as it's genuinely lovely, but it deserves a new owner that will use it and care for it!
