2002 TVR TAMORA

First registered October 2002, and has now done a little less than 35,000 miles.

Engine is 3605cc TVR “Speed Six” DOHC engine giving 350 bhp (355 PS/261 kW) @ 7,200 rpm and torque 290 lb-ft (393 Nm) @ 5,500 rpm. Car weight 1060 kg (dry).

Acceleration 0–60 mph in 4.2 sec, 0–100 mph in 9.5 sec.Top speed: ~175 mph (These figures are TVR data from time of first registration).

Complete TVR original handbook with servicing stamps. Full service history, with last major service by Track v Road (Clitheroe) June 2024 at 31823 miles. MoT in April 2026 at 34,133 miles

Purchased by present owner in December 2016 at 23,781 miles. It’s always been garaged overnight and trickle-charged in winter during my ownership. Sale includes registration plate Y8 TVR worth approx £1,500. Colour is stunning bright “Red Bull Blue”. Has all-electric control buttons (no handles!) and multi-screen LCD dashboard. A new battery was installed in 2019, and a few minor electrical parts have been replaced. Fitted with a full matching set of TVR branded Toyo Proxes T1R tyres at 30,000 miles. Supplied with 2 ignition keys, 2 Meta door fobs, and 2 fobs for the Clifford alarm / immobiliser system.

In “normal” driving I have averaged around 25 mpg (5.5 miles / litre), but it’ll be worse than this in town driving (but why would you?). Fuel tank officially holds 63 litres, so around 350 miles range on a full tank. Uses E5 fuel (98/99 octane) currently, but hoses / seals etc could be changed to enable E10, as the engine previously ran on 95 octane without the additional bio-ethanol.
