Stunning 2003 Audi TT 1.8 5V Turbo (150 BHP) finished in Goodwood Green Metallic Coachwork with matching Mohair Electric Convertible Roof and Deep Blue Fine Nappa Leather Upholstery. This is such an unusual and rare colour combination for a MK1 Audi TT and it looks great! Beautiful condition with lovely straight glossy panels, a few stone chips to the front as to be expected, commensurate with age and mileage. The roof is in exceptional condition with no rips or worn areas, the electric folding mechanism is free from any rust and operates perfectly. The interior has held up very well over the last 23 years with no rips or holes in the leather or carpets. The door card fabrics are a little baggy in places so we have ordered replacemnt door cards with leather inserts and BOSE speakers (we will update the photos when fitted!). A few of the interior switches are tired and will be replaced for the new keeper (once again, these have been ordered and pictures will be updated when fitted). We have also sent the instrument cluster away to be refurbished for a crystal clear LCD Display for the lucky new owner. Overall the car stands extremely proud of itself and is a real head turner. The MK1 TT has always been a favourite car to drive for me, and this example is no exception. The engine is powerful, quiet and smoke free. The gearbox is lovely and tight, and the clutch has a very decent midway biting point. The steering, suspension and brakes are positive and responsive and free from any unwanted knocks or noises. The Air Conditioning is ice cold and everything works as it should. Sensible mileage of 112K and capable of many more decades of service, fantastic value and becoming a rare site on the roads today. Sure to be a good investment. The car was seized by the Goverment before we purchased it, so likely an untaxed vehicle or due to another offense by the owner. We therfore have no service history paperwork with the car (although we can see a previous sales advert from 2022 on the HPI Report claiming the car was owned by an Audi Engineer for a large proportion of its life. Its clear to see the car has been maintained and cherished, and will of course be subject to our stringent RAC Approved Dealer Retail Preparation.
