2003 ASTON MARTIN VANQUISH

For sale is my 2003 Aston Martin Vanquish in Tungsten Silver with a Charcoal interior (the same specification chosen for Bond in 'Die Another Day').

I bought the car at auction last year and took it straight to my local specialist Nicholas Mee, where it was given a thorough inspection and recommissioning, with all recommended work undertaken at a very significant cost. Nicholas Mee’s inspection also confirmed the subframes were free from any significant corrosion, which a known weak point of these models.Nicholas Mee then serviced the car in April this year, meaning it’s now mechanically sorted and ready to be enjoyed over the summer.

The Vanquish has enjoyed several desirable upgrades over the years at renowned specialist Bamford Rose including, crucially, the installation of upgraded transmission components in 2024 (magnetic position sensor, ASM pack, transmission control module) and a primary decat in 2017. The original catalyst design was very restrictive, requiring the engine to run rich to prevent the catalysts from overheating, so removal allows the engine to run optimally. The clutch was replaced by Bamford Rose in 2024 and has only covered 1000 miles since. The Vanquish comes with a very well documented service history, with Bamford Rose having looked after it for much of its life, in conjunction with a handful of other specialists.

Cosmetically, the car presents very nicely, with only a few minor signs of wear commensurate with its age, including oxidisation bubbles on one of the doors. I would be happy to talk any interested buyers through the car’s condition in detail, and buyers would equally be welcome to organise specialist inspection if they wish.

In summary, this is a very special car recently subjected to extensive mechanical work, and it’s driving brilliantly as a result. I believe it is the most competitively priced first-generation Vanquish in the country and I welcome any serious enquiries.

AUG 2025 – NICHOLAS MEE – recommissioning including replacement of all spark plugs and ignition coil packs (plus intake manifold gaskets etc.), differential drive shaft oil seal, broken undertray fixings, exhaust silencer mountings, nearside upper wishbone, engine temperature sensor, replacement of all wheel bolts, and more.
