JH Pearce & Co are pleased to present this remarkable example of the very desirable Aston Martin V8 Vantage N400 Roadster for sale. Finished in Lightning Silver (one of three new colours that the N400 previewed) with Obsidian Black leather and Coarse Silver stitching, this car is fitted with the preferred 6 speed manual transmission. It also comes complete with the comprehensive list of standard equipment that this limited production car showcased. Satellite Navigation (now upgraded to include Apple CarPlay & Android Auto), Microspin Alloy Facia, electric seats with memory, heated seats, Premium Audio System, cruise control, Bluetooth and HID headlamps. There is also the further option of the wind deflector.

The car we are selling on behalf of our client is number 179 of the 240 Roadsters built, with only 480 N400s ever being crafted at the Gaydon production facility. Why 480? Because there are 480 seconds in 8 minutes, the laptime of a V8 Vantage around the infamous Nurburgring circuit in Germany where the V8 Vantage competed in the 24 hour race that the track hosts annually.

The N400 variant of the 4.3 litre V8 Vantage came with a raft of enhancements over the standard car at the time. The car was fitted with the new Sport Pack chassis, with retuned springs and Bilstein dampers as well as the stunning 5 spoke diamond turned alloy wheels with Graphite finish (never offered on the Sport Pack option on the standard car), N400 side sills, Bright Finish Grille and Bonnet Meshes, clear rear lamps and perforated leather seats. The interior was also garnished with the embroidered map of the circuit on the armrest finished in the same Coarse Silver thread to match the seats. The Microspin Alloy facia was also unique to the N400. Lastly a small external badge with the circuit map and a numbered sill plaques were aded to complete the model.

Now seen as a very desirable collector's model, this N400 has been lovingly cared for throughout its life between the supplying Aston Martin dealer and renowned specialists including ourselves for the past 4 years.
