1988 Ferrari

Manufactured during October 1987 as a 1988 model-year example, the original list price was £45,597.50, plus delivery charges, number plates and road tax. Optional extras included air conditioning (£1,681.87) and the rear aerofoil (£280.31). With waiting lists stretching to five years, first registration was delayed by the original owner until March 1988. The car changed hands just seven days later when it was sold to a company director from Middlesex.

Over the following 15 years, the Ferrari passed through five further keepers before being acquired by a gentleman from Somerset on 14 November 2003. The last owner, from Dorset, purchased the car on 26 July 2006 with just 21,000 miles recorded, from a respected specialist in Dorset.

The last sixteen services have been carried out by Nigel Hudson, formerly of Emblem Sports Cars and Nigel Mansell Sports Cars in Dorset.

The car is complete with a comprehensive history file from new, including the original factory service book, handbooks, wallet and tool kit. It now benefits from a black leather dashboard and headlining, complemented by a cream leather rear window surround.
