Description

The Aston Martin DBS was introduced in 2007 as the flagship of Aston Martin’s range, reviving a model name with considerable heritage. The original DBS had been produced between 1967 and 1972, and its reintroduction signalled Aston Martin’s intention to offer something more focused and driver-oriented than anything in their contemporary lineup. Powered by a naturally aspirated 6.0-litre V12 producing 510bhp, the DBS was available with either a six-speed manual gearbox or Touchtronic automatic gearbox and offered a driving experience to match its imposing presence.
With wider bodywork, a more finely tuned chassis, carbon ceramic brakes, and a character that leaned noticeably towards the sporting end of the grand touring spectrum, the DBS occupied a position that few cars of its era could credibly challenge. It looked and felt like a flagship should, combining the visual drama expected of an Aston Martin with genuine dynamic ability.
The DBS made its cinematic debut in Casino Royale in 2006, appearing ahead of the car’s public launch, and returned in Quantum of Solace in 2008. The association was a natural one. Aston Martin and Bond have been intertwined since Goldfinger in 1964, and the DBS carried that tradition forward at a particularly significant moment, with the franchise being reinvented under Daniel Craig and attracting a new generation of admirers. It gave the car a cultural resonance that extended far beyond the automotive world.
Production ran from 2007 to 2012, with a Volante joining the range in 2009. Manual gearbox cars, and particularly those specified in 2+2 configuration, were produced in very limited numbers and are now firmly established as collectable examples.
New to stock is this excellent example, registered in October 2010, in one of the most desirable configurations in which the Aston Martin DBS was offered: the 6-speed manual transmission combined with 2+2 seating. Just 28 right-hand drive cars were produced to this specification for the UK market. Finished in Storm Black, a striking black with a deep red metallic flake, over Obsidian Black Semi Aniline (Q Exclusive) Balmoral Leather hides.
This 2010 model year car is well specified from the factory. Headline options include a manual transmission, 1000W Bang & Olufsen BeoSound audio system, a carbon fibre fascia panel, Magnum Silver front meshes, 10-spoke silver alloy wheels, silver seatbelts, polished alloy tread plates, and an auto-dimming rear-view mirror.
The car also benefits from full PPF (paint protection film) preserving the bodywork, Apple CarPlay integration, carbon fibre upgrades, a performance exhaust system, and front headlamp fan units, which address the condensation issue inherent to the model.
The service history is comprehensive, with 14 stamps from Aston Martin main dealers and respected marque specialists and has been just recently serviced on the 3rd June 2026.
Supplied to its next owner with all three keys, an Aston Martin umbrella, and an Aston Martin indoor car cover.
The DBS manual has established itself firmly amongst collectors and enthusiasts, combining the visual and dynamic presence expected of a flagship Aston Martin with a level of driver engagement that is increasingly difficult to find in the modern era.
Available now for viewing and demonstration at Pendine’s Bicester Motion showroom.
