1986 Porsche 944 turbo.

Early offset model with no ABS and teledial wheels.

First registered April 1986 so now eligible for historic vehicle status.

Alpine white with black leather interior.

MOT until 11th November 1986

The suspension was replaced in 2023 as the original dampers and roll bars were past their best. The dampers are updated and it has 968 MO30 ARBs’s meaning the handling is improved whilst keeping the car nice and compliant on the road.

I have owned this car for 11 years now, it has seen very little use over the last 3/4 years and as such would probably benefit from a few bits of maintenance, having done some miles in it I would say the following needs addressed to fully enjoy the car:

Belts due on time but not milage.

Offside engine mount replacement.

Coolant flush.

Heater temperature fluctuates.

Having said all that it really does drive very well indeed, no knocks or bangs and it makes boost as it should. Never overheats and is still a real joy to take out for a drive.

Has never been tuned or messed around with.

The paint is 40 years old, so there is patina and stone chips present. It still looks very presentable given its age.

Very reluctant sale, however I now have a growing family, and no longer have a garage so I cant really see the car being used much over the next few years. seems a waste to put it into storage hence the sale.
