2006 BMW Z4

Here for sale is my 2006 BMW Z4 3.0SI Manual Roadster in Titan Silver.

Full service history with excellent clean mot history. Freshly serviced and MOT until May 2027.

This face-lifted m-sport specification car benefits from the excellent N52 straight six engine paired with a manual six speed gearbox, it is an absolute blast to drive and is probably the most fun sports car available at this price range.

Recent refurbished genuine BMW MV2 alloys with Michelin PS4 tyres all round these are immaculate with just a few tiny stone chips on the front right. (Est 1500 miles on them). These were purchased at a cost of £1300.

Specification includes: Auto-lights, cup holders, reverse parking sensors, m-sport pack.

Grom bluetooth module installed keeping OEM stereo but offering bluetooth connectivity.

In my ownership I have had the following work completed:

New Bosch starter motor Dec 2024

Replacement rocker cover gasket and oil cooler gasket by BMR in Dartford. This resolved the engine bay oil leaks and has ensured the car doesn’t consume oil which the N52 can be susceptible to. Feb 2025

Alternator replaced with Bosch OEM - Apr 2026

Water pump replaced Aug 2023 before I purchased the car (Pierburg)

New bonnet badge, wipers, m-sport weighted gearknob (original included)

The car would benefit from some paint on the front bumper and corner of the wing due to a car park ding and 20 years of low kerbs/stone chips. The boot lip would also benefit from paint as the lacquer has been worn down through closing the boot with a handbag/ring finger and poorly polished. There are a few other small marks around the car, however for the most part the car looks great for the age.

The drivers seat back pad rake doesn’t work (I expect a stretched cable as the motor still turns). The forward and aft and up and down adjustments work fine. The passenger seat works perfectly. The heated seats are also excellent.

There is a slight clunk from the rear when accelerating at slow speeds which I expect to be the original diff mounts. This seems to be a common BMW issue and hasn’t caused me any issues in my ownership.

Occasionally the car will have a slight bumpy idle on start, this quickly settles and the car runs smoothly through the rev range and is very quick.

Air con is ice cold.

Selling as I am looking to return to a one car garage due to my limited usage in the week. I will miss this car, it’s been absolutely brilliant and I haven’t regretted owning it one bit.
