1999 LOTUS ELISE

A Lotus Elise S1 in the ever-popular colour of Calypso Red and with just two owners from new. Provided new in December 1999, V211 NAV stayed within the care of its’ first owner for twenty-four years before passing to its current owner in August 2023.

With the huge history file, filling two folders, dating back to Day One, the original order form confirms the vehicle to have been supplied with all of the factory option boxes ticked, along with some nice dealer supplied items, fitted prior to delivery..

Additional important upgrades include the fitment of S2-specification Bilstein shock absorbers and the head gasket was upgraded to later specification materials back in 2010. The Stack instrument pack was replaced in 2013 following a not-uncommon failure of the original unit. The original unit was, however, restored and reinstated in 2024, with the recorded mileage reset to its’ true reading. The interior has also been treated to a comprehensive retrim by Lotus service dealers and expert trimmers, Allon White, with the original magnolia interior replaced by a far more practical black interior. The seat centre panels are fitted with ProBax inserts, finished in Alcantara with red contrast stitching.

Current recorded mileage is 69100 and the MOT certificate (no advisories) is valid until 26th September 2026 but will be renewed prior to purchase. I will also ensure that the vehicle is serviced prior to collection by its’ new (and only its’ third) owner.

Accompanying the vehicle will be the aforementioned two folders of paperwork, containing all bills and receipts, the original owners’ manuals including two stamped service books (the original one is full) plus a beautiful Certificate of Provenance from Lotus Cars confirming the original specification of the car.
