This car has been my pride and joy since owning it and it’s a very difficult decision to sell, I tried to sell it a few months ago but couldn’t justify selling it after spending so much time and effort on It so removed the advert. Unfortunately I just don’t use it enough to justify keeping it and it deserves someone to use to enjoy it.
If you are sceptical about an auto Subaru sti I was exactly the same until I drove one, it made me sell my white manual saloon sti. They are good from factory but always felt it lacked a bit of torque, a trip down to bob completely changed the car, he tweaked the throttle mapping etc and made a perfect daily, in normal sport mode it’s very easy to live with and drive. Once you turn to sport sharp it gives great throttle response and the gearbox will rev match on the down shifts, it has a manual mode and you can use the flappy paddles to change gear, in my option you get the best of both worlds with the easy drivability of an auto for daily duty’s and then when you want to get a move on you can switch to sport sharp.
The remote start is perfect for the colder mornings that you want to let the car warm up / de ice the screen before leaving while keeping the doors locked, it also works perfectly on the hotter days to let the AC run a few minutes before getting into it.
I’ve owned a lot of Subaru’s and still have a few but this one has been one of my favourites for how easy it is to live with everyday and has the added benefit of the lower tax bracket of around £320 a year.
There is a few age related marks on the car but considering it’s 14 years old it looks better than some 2 year old cars I’ve viewed ( it even had PPF on the rear arches ) Interior is mint condition, I’ve only ever driven it with a seat cover.
