2004 LOTUS ELISE

Here is my Lotus Elise S2 111R in Arctic Silver with red leather seats and carpets. It has the full touring package including electric windows and is a non-A/C model. The car will be sold with three different roofs, all in very good condition: the normal black soft top; a red soft top to match the interior; an Arctic Silver hardtop with a new headlining fitted by a retired Rolls Royce trimmer. All have individual storage bags/covers.

The car is in very good condition for its age, being described by an Oakmere Lotus workshop employee as “a minter”. There are few very small age-related marks and a low mileage of 38900. The interior is also in very good condition and all electrics on the car work with the exception of the heater fan position 3, which I had never used but was discovered not active at a service and recorded on the invoice.

There is a comprehensive history (mostly Lotus) and has no mechanical issues whatsoever. Garaged and total dry weather use during my 6 years ownership, with the overall condition reflecting a lifetime of similar care. An interior cover as well as a waterproof cover will be included.

Prior to my purchase in 2020 the previous owner (I have contact details) carried out the following additional work during 4 years of ownership:

- A full set of Advan AD07 LTS tyres

- New front discs and pads

- New battery

- New thermostat

- New towing eye

- New radiator fans and upgraded mounting brackets

- Alloys professionally refurbished and powder coated with colour change to black

- Replacement ball joints on the front

Also, the previous owner made some sensible upgrades that improved and added to the character of the car:

- Hangar111 Exhaust (original to be supplied with the car)

- K&N Hurricane Induction Kit (original to be supplied with the car)

- Toyota Exedy Organic Clutch (much more positive engagement but not heavy)

- Redline MT90 Gear Oil

- Original alloys powder coated black

- Pioneer bluetooth head unit (original to be supplied with the car)

He also replaced the spotlight grille with a plain one, preferring the look. I have refitted the spotlight grille (the plain one will be supplied with the car)

During the last 6 years (3100 miles) of my ownership the car has benefited from:

- New rear discs and pads

- New exhaust heat shields

- New battery

The Moto-build Racing front splitter I purchased but never fitted will be supplied with the car.

I have cherished this car from day one delighting in the brilliant handling, the power boost from the 189 bhp vvt engine and just the total pleasure of ownership, however at 76yrs I must now face reality and hand over for someone else to enjoy.

The car is supplied with two keys and remotes, two Lotus service log books and all paperwork dating back to the receipt of sale. The MOT and last service was carried out 29 March 2026 by Oakmere Lotus.
