When I was in the market for an RS6 I only wanted a car with carbon ceramic brakes - the standard steel discs last 20-30k miles before requiring £3k replacement! Harder to find the right car as it was a £12k option when new, this was the dealer principles car, which is why nearly every optional extra was ticked. The carbon ceramics have been epic, they’re only 20-25% worn (according to last Audi health check) and no brake dust!
