Released in 2008 for the Japanese market and in production for around 2 years, the Type S was the S2000's final swan song and ultimate evolution, limited to just 1,755 examples. This Hong Kong registered car has exceptionally low mileage with just over 1,000 km and is finished in the desirable shade of Premium Sunset Mauve Pearl.

Honda has refined the S2000 engine and chassis to increase torque and improve handling over the long production run. This last-of-the-line Type S is more driver-focused by reducing its weight, adding a unique aerodynamic body kit, lightweight alloy wheels, a sport suspension tailored for this limited edition, and an aluminum gear knob with a reduced shift stroke. The S200 Type S delivers an exhilarating sound at high revs with its 2.2L F22C inline-four engine, producing up to 240 hp.
