2000 SUBARU IMPREZA

MY00, W reg, 1 previous owner car that has only done a genuine 60,000 miles, I have owned the car since 2003 and purchased from a friend of mine so I know the history of the car since new, It was used daily until around 2007 when I decided to add some performance parts, so sadly is no longer on the original engine or gearbox, it has been garaged during my ownership and since 2007 has almost never been used in the wet so the underneath and body work is in excellent condition for it’s age, there are a couple of small dings and marks but all body work is original and original paint. Both bumpers could do with being painted due to having a few marks and would make this an extremely clean example. The STI style rear wing and prodrive alloys were fitted from factory, I have the service book and all main dealer stamps up until the time I decided to modify the car, since then it has been maintained by myself, the modifications fitted are:- Garrett GT30,0.63 a/r rotated turbo kit with Tial 44mm external wastegate, Front mounted intercooler, parallel fuel rails, 740cc injectors and uprated FPR, full decat 3inch exhaust, 2.15L Fully forged Semi Closed deck block supplied by Engine Tuner, Heads ported, 1mm oversize Exhaust valves and 272 cams built up by Engine Tuner, RCM oil pump, Kevlar Belt, ARP studs, Exedy hyper twin plate clutch and 2002 STI 6 speed gearbox, Still running the R160 diff, but do have a compatible R180 rear diff and shafts that will be included in the sale, the current Engine was Built in 2013 and has only covered around 3000 miles, the ECU is stock with an Ecutek Reflash on a very mild tune whilst the engine was being run in, this was done by the late great Simon Roe (Was a well known Subaru specific tuner), sadly he passed away shortly afterwards so we never did the final map, the car is still very fast but would benefit from something like an Alcatek ecu. where you could potentially see 450-500 bhp, The car has been sat for 4 years, but I have regularly started and ran to temperature, added new fuel, etc. so would suggest needs a light recommissioning before using again, I do have some of the original parts, that I will include in the sale, rear lights, Turbo, manifold, would be very easy for someone to sell the modified parts and return the car to standard and have a very clean classic, I just don’t have the time or inclination to work on cars anymore. Please, only serious and genuine interest, having owned this car for 23 years is going to be very difficult to part with so will only be entertaining offers in excess of £10,000, I do not think you will be able to find a cleaner chassis / original panel / paint example at this price point.
