It has a powerful yet very economical 2.2 diesel engine (61.4mpg combined economy, 0-60 in a brisk 7.6 seconds) and 7 speed automatic gearbox with sports and sequential modes as well as Eco mode. The hybrid system works really well, providing super quiet low speed running and a seamless power boost when needed for overtaking.
