2017 Jaguar F Type SVR Convertible, finished in metallic ultimate black over mulberry hide. 21,000 miles from new.

Launched in 2016 to critical acclaim it could reasonably be argued that the Jaguar F Type SVR is Jaguars last true high performance car.

The SVR’s supercharged 5.0-litre V8 produces 567bhp and borrows its set-up from the limited-run Project 7 car benefitting from a lightweight titanium and Inconel exhaust system which sounds simply incredible. Performance is electrifying with the 0-60 dash being completed in just 3.5 seconds and on to a top speed of 195mph.

Changes to the SVO’s suspension over the standard car are a major factor too. The rear anti-roll bar is thicker, the valves inside the continuously variable dampers have been reworked and the software governing the SVR’s Adaptive Dynamics set-up has been recalibrated, which allows for a gentle cruiser when in standard mode, but sharpening the handling and throttle response when switched into dynamic mode.
