2000 LOTUS ELISE

2000 Lotus Elise S1 finished in the stunning and rare colour of Atlantis metallic blue over grey half hide.

A car we know well having sold it to its last two previous owners, with the current owner only decided to move her on due to his advancing years.

Originally sold by The London Lotus Centre to Mr Lewis on the 9th May 2000, the car was subsequently sold 16 months later to Mr Overall who then kept the car for the following 21 years.

In August 2017 the car was put into storage where it remained until March 2023 at which time it was recommissioned by Hilton & Moss including a Major D Service and the fitment of a new fuel tank with associated hoses, timing belt, water pump and gear linkage kit.

We subsequently sold the car to its one but last last owner at which time he elected to make some further improvements including a full set of Bilstein S2 shock absorbers, 4 x Falken ZE310 tyres (which in our opinion are an excellent road focused tyre) 4-wheel laser alignment and a hurricane induction kit to compliment the original Janspeed sports exhaust. As a belt and braces exercise, we also fitted new steering rack track rod ends, rack gators and new exhaust gaskets.

The car drives superbly and sounds fantastic, and the upgraded shock absorbers improve both the ride and handling without any of the crashiness associated with the early Koni shock absorbers fitted to Series 1 Elises.

The paintwork, whilst not perfect, is in lovely all-round condition whilst the interior remains unworn as is to be expected of a car which has only covered 39,900 miles.

Accompanying the car is the original handbooks, both keys, invoices from Hilton & Moss showing all work carried out during the recommissioning and every MOT certificate dating back to 2003 confirming the low mileage. Before delivery, the car will be fully inspected and serviced in our workshop.
