2003 BMW 3 SERIES

I am selling a very good, absolutely standard, ULEZ compliant E46 330i Touring with a great list of options. September 2003 build ceramic coated Silbergrau Metallic A08 with black heated leather, tilt slide sunroof, Auto Xenon headlights, Harmon Kardon Business CD Stereo with 6 CD Changer in the boot, Auto wipers and BMW mat set. Comes with full service records, complete book pack and not only the original invoice, but the order brochure with the detachable interior and exterior colour swatches. Ex BMW management car, hence pretty well every option checked, then a long term fastidious owner who clearly looked after his car very well. V5 now shows 3 previous owners, I purchased from the 3rd owner who continued to maintain the car very well. In my ownership I have had the gearbox properly serviced at 102,755 by Ken at Transmission Technology in Knowle. Ken looks after my collection of E46 and I ignore BMW's promise of a lifetime sealed gearbox in exchange for the peace of mind of a fluid, filter and gasket change at around 100k on all of my cars.

This touring is in lovely condition, there are some stone chips but zero rust and it is a great car to drive. The sunroof and heated seats are my favourite options, although the auto Xenons and wipers make it very comfortable compared with other classics. Full auto close of windows and roof on the key is another nice touch. I am only selling this one as I also have a slightly earlier Oriental Blue Metallic car with identical spec and very similar history and miles. The blue one has more scratches and chips but that doesn't really bother me and it will serve well as my retirement car.

This silver car benefitted from the MV2 wheels which are in good condition with good tyres all round. I achieve nearly 30mpg from a combination of local journeys and trips to our kids in Cheltenham and Reading which is pretty good for a very rapid older car. Suspension, brakes, engine, gearbox, bodywork and interior are all in lovely condition and, if you have been looking for one of these, this will be one of the better ones. An extremely accomplished car in 2003 and still so 23 years later. You can insure on a classic policy and, being ULEZ compliant, it's a great city car. With values of good, well specified M Sport E46 increasing rapidly, this represents a very good proposition.

You will find the MOT history under my personal number plate TNY 5S which will be transferred to my blue car on sale. The car will revert to original registration of RJ53 OCP.
