Wolf Racing Cars is an Italian racing car manufacturer and constructor that builds high-performance 'sport prototypes' and single-seaters. Based in Sarezzo, Italy, the modern company was founded in 2009 when Avelon Formula purchased the legal rights to the historic Walter Wolf Racing brand, a famous team that originally competed in Formula 1 during the late 1970s. Today, Wolf Racing Cars is a leading name in sports prototype championships, hill-climb events and endurance racing worldwide.

The Wolf GB08 was a series of purpose built CN2 class Sports Prototypes, produced by the company since 2010, that featured a full carbon fibre monocoque offering an exceptional power-to-weight ratio and advanced aerodynamics. They featured prominently at the time in the V de V Sports Endurance series, dominating the CN class and Proto categories.

The car presented here is a 2011 Wolf GB08 (CN), with a full carbon tub and bodywork (produced by the same company that make the carbon structures for Pagani Automobili S.p.A.). The car weighs approx. 570kg and has c.270bhp, giving formidable performance. It was bought by our vendor from Belgium and has been totally refurbished during his ownership, with c.£45,000 invested into it, however, having enjoyed its recommissioning, his other commitments and insufficient spare time now mean it must be sold.

Despite the demise of the CN class of racing, there are many other opportunities to enjoy the Wolf including numerous hill-climb events throughout Europe, Equipe Sports Prototypes and track days. This is a great opportunity to acquire a fully sorted, ready-to-go, GB08 that offers huge performance at a tempting guide and deserves to find a new home.
