The eighth generation of Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution was introduced in 2003 and featured 17-inch Enkei wheels, Brembo brakes, Bilstein shocks and a five-speed gearbox

The VIII was the very first Evo model to have full UK factory approval and they were offered in a number of editions - the 260, FQ-300, FQ-320, FQ-340 and FQ-400 - with the final number corresponding roughly to the power output

The FQ340 offered 345bhp, 320lb/ft of torque and was capable of 0-60 in 4.4 seconds and 157mph. Power was fed through a five-speed manual gearbox driving all four wheels via an Active Centre Differential (ACD) and Super Active Yaw Control (AYC)

Presented in well-kept condition throughout, this example is fitted with HSD performance coilovers and benefits from a tracker system for added security

The gearbox was rebuilt by CPP Motor Developments of Sandbach in July 2022, whilst further maintenance includes a replacement clutch, routine servicing and belt changes supported by invoices on file

Finished in Cool Silver Metallic (A31), it was supplied new by North City Autos Mitsubishi Ralliart in July 2004. It's accompanied by its original service book and a fully stamped Mitsubishi main dealer service history up to 82,237 miles in September 2020
